Welcome to our site! We are a multi-cultural family living in Brooklyn, NY with a passion to travel the world, so much that we even named our daughter Terra. We truly believe in taking her everywhere with us to learn as much as she can about this diverse world we live in. We hope to share local food, culture, and experiences through our lens, and most importantly to inspire you not be afraid to travel far from home even though you have kids!
A 9-5 Family Making the Most of Our Vacation Days
We understand that most people do not have the luxury to travel somewhere new every month. Currently with our limited vacation time we won’t be traveling full-time, but we will show you how an ordinary family can still fulfill a love for wanderlust. With a passion for photography this site will be an outlet to share our viewpoint of our journeys. Our goal is to travel to 60+ countries by the time our daughter is 10, so one country at a time! In between our larger trips abroad we will be sharing local food and culture of our home in NYC and also trips around our own country.
On this site you’ll find our personal recommendations and tips on where we stayed, travel guides to specific cities, insight into local foods and culture, tips on traveling with kids, and fully detailed itineraries.
We’ll also be bringing our drone and share our journey on traveling with it. Follow along as we learn the ins and outs of using it.
Inspiration Behind Our Travel Soup
So why Travel Soup? Well for one, we love food. For us it’s a mix of our experiences to feed our body, mind and souls as we journey around the world. With every new place we visit it simply adds to our big pot of travel soup. This pot will continually change as each experience adds something different and new to our lives.
